How does PowerStudio convert a screenshot to a Power Apps canvas app?

PowerStudio uses a 7-agent AI pipeline. You upload a screenshot or describe your app in text. The AI generates an HTML prototype, then a sequence of Layout, Controls, Styling, Accessibility, Assembly, PowerFx, and HTML agents converts it to valid Power Apps PA-YAML that you can paste directly into Power Apps Studio or deploy with one click.

PA-YAML (Power Apps YAML) is the source-code format for Power Apps canvas apps, introduced by Microsoft to replace the older binary .msapp format. It is a human-readable YAML representation of screens, controls, properties, and Power Fx formulas that Power Apps Studio can import and compile.

PBIR (Power BI Project Report) is Microsoft's new open folder-based format for Power BI reports, replacing the legacy binary .pbix internals. PowerStudio can generate PBIR report definitions from text prompts, ready to open in Power BI Desktop.

Can I import an existing Power Apps canvas app into PowerStudio?

Yes. Paste a Power Apps Studio URL (make.powerapps.com) and PowerStudio reads the app directly via the Canvas Authoring API. You can also upload an .msapp file or a solution .zip. PowerStudio extracts the PA-YAML, generates an HTML preview, and lets you refine or redesign with AI.

How much does PowerStudio cost?

PowerStudio uses a credit system. Sign-up gives you 50 free credits (no credit card required). Generating a Power Apps canvas app costs 10 credits, importing an app costs 10 credits, deploying costs 5 credits, and generating a Power BI PBIR report costs 15 credits. Can PowerStudio deploy directly to Power Apps Studio?

Yes. PowerStudio can push generated YAML directly into a live Power Apps Studio co-authoring session via the Canvas Authoring MCP Server running on Azure Container Apps. Click 'Push to Power Apps' from the design passport to deploy.

What AI models power PowerStudio?

PowerStudio routes tasks to purpose-fit models via OpenRouter. Layout and controls generation uses google/gemma-4-31b-it. Assembly, PowerFx generation, and packaging use anthropic/claude-sonnet-4.6. Image-to-HTML conversion uses google/gemini-2.5-flash.

Is PowerStudio GDPR compliant?

Yes. PowerStudio is operated by Bittics BV, a Belgian company, and is fully compliant with GDPR. User data is processed with legitimate interest or consent basis, and you can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting info@bittics.com.

By accessing or using PowerStudio.dev (“Service”), operated by Bittics BV (“Company”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

PowerStudio.dev is an AI-powered platform that generates Power Apps YAML code and Power BI reports (PBIR format) from text prompts and screenshots. The Service includes a web application, API, and component marketplace.

Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.

Credits and Payment

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Free credits are provided upon registration. Additional credits can be purchased through our payment provider (Stripe). All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

Upload malicious content, malware, or harmful code

Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without authorization

Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal API usage

Intellectual Property

Your content

You retain ownership of any prompts, screenshots, or other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the Service.

Generated output

The YAML code, PBIR files, and other outputs generated by the Service are yours to use freely in your projects, including commercial use.

Our content

The Service, its design, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Bittics BV and protected by intellectual property laws.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate code and reports. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or require manual adjustment. You are responsible for reviewing and testing all generated output before use in production environments.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bittics BV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Availability and Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Belgium.
